Welcome!

RESTOCKING SALE!!!!!!!!

That's right, it's that time of year again--time for us to sell out the old and bring in the new. . .so, for the next couple of weeks or so, everything in the store, except the things here on consignment for other people, will be

20% OFF!!!

Yep, that's right, all the cds, new and used, all the tshirts, all the flags, stickers, patches--all of it, 20% off.  The only catch is this:  we do not reorder until the sale is over, which is usually about 3 weeks.  So, you take the good w/ the bad, right?  : )

Any of you guys ever seen, "The Reach of Song?"  It is an incredible musical, performed every year in Young Harris, and they need as much support as we can give them this year. . .they need it every year, of course, but, in this year of our country's economic hardship, they need it even more keenly.  It is a *great* show, built around the heritage of North Georgia and the changing times around WWII, all of which is seen thru the eyes of the great American poet, Byron Herbert Reece, a native of the Choestoe area of Union County.  It is incredible, and if ANYTHING ever deserved funding from our State, this masterpiece does, but it doesn't get it, not as it is needed. . .not only is it a great way to spend a couple of hours, it is an excellent way to learn about the "old" way of doing things, to celebrate our history and to just honor those who came before us.  Go and see it, guys. . .tickets are only $15 each, and it is *well* worth it.  Check out the Reach of Song website for scheduling information.

Well, music sucks these days, so I don't know what else to tell ya'll. . .LOL

School starts back soon, and hopefully I'll be helping out w/ some of the Bobcat teams' activities this year--you know, working in the concession stands and such, plus, I hope to have t-shirts, flags, and the like for sale in the near future!  So, support our school teams and drop by for a shirt!  :)

Another thing:  check out the Rants & Reviews page--reviews have always been there, but the 'rants' portion is a new feature. . . this time around it is about Michael Jackson and his claims that the music industry is racist against black artists. . .you know, there is an obvious shot there, but I'm gonna let it slide for now. . .; D

Thanks for everything, as always, guys!

Until next time--

Mechele
